A. Infantino & Co. has looked after Hoddesdon businesses for decades. It is now part of the GNS group — the same office and the same faces, with stronger systems behind them.

Our story

A local practice, deliberately kept local

The firm was built on the High Street, looking after the businesses around it — builders, shops, landlords and families who wanted an accountant they could walk in and see. Much of that client base is still with us, in some cases across three generations.

Under new ownership the brief has not changed. Better software, faster answers and clearer pricing — but the same short chain of people between you and someone who can actually make a decision.

Every client has a qualified accountant responsible for their work, and the investment since has gone into systems and people rather than a change of address.

Our principles

Four things we hold ourselves to

People first You get a named accountant who knows your business. No ticket queue, no call centre, no being handed to whoever is free. We would rather grow slowly than lose that.

Trust and integrity Qualified, supervised and straight with you — including when the answer is not what you hoped, or when the honest advice is to do nothing.

Tech enabled Sage as our main platform, with Xero and QuickBooks supported, plus secure digital signing and document exchange. Set up properly so it saves you time rather than adding admin.

Partnership approach We sit down with you at least twice a year, because the conversations that change your tax bill happen before the year end, not after it.
